Thanks, Jacquie, for the awesome book. And thanks, Seb, for growing that sexy moustache!

Since Sebastian and I will be leaving for Seattle tomorrow afternoon, my family decided to give us an early Christmas. Jared, Jenny, and Mario came into town to celebrate with us. We started the evening with a DELICIOUS meal prepared by Mom, Jenny, and Sebastian. Jenny's rolls were to die for! And the meat was SO tasty! After dinner, we played a little gratitude game. Everyone got seven index cards. We each wrote three things we love about each person on our cards. Then, we took turns reading the cards and trying to figure out who it described. My favorite description: "This person has a good looking mustache." Sebastian!

After dinner, we had our annual Christmas talent show. First, Jared, Jenny, and Mario sang two Christmas songs. Then, Dad tied a bunch of knots and sang a Japanese song. Sebastian and I sang "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" while Seb plucked on his cello. Jacob played "I Believe in Christ" on our keyboard. And best for last, my mom wrote a song about my dad and Jesus to the tune of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." She sang the song and we all LOVED it!

After the talent show, we delivered gifts to a friend of mine in our ward and sang her "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." It was wonderful to see her surprised face! We hope this becomes a tradition! Afterwards, we came home and had a gift exchange. We feel so blessed and appreciate all of the love and generosity.

Merry Christmas . . . almost!!!
