Fall is a wonderful time in New Mexico ... particularly in the Hobbs' home. In addition to fresh green chili entering our diets and crisp skies full of hot air balloons, we've enjoyed a flurry of birthday parties! In August, we celebrated Shauna's 25th with Texas sheet cake brownies and pictionary. For Jacob's birthday, in September, my mom had the entire Wallace clan over for a night of barbecuing and charades topped off with homemade chocolate satin pie. You go, Mom! Jenny's 25th birthday came in October, and mom and dad threw another awesome barbecue. The night included a pinata, delicious steak and chicken, a three-legged race, and Mom's gourmet strawberry cheesecake. Delish! Today is my dad's 50th birthday and he and my mom are currently out on the town, celebrating as husband and wife. Next month, me, Sebastian, and my mom have birthdays! Not to mention our third anniversary and Thanksgiving! Holy cow! Too much fun!!!
