Love this goofball
Last night, we went to our ward's annual Trunk-Or-Treat activity. Our ward does it a little differently than most - the entire thing is setup like a reenactment of Lehi's Tree of Life vision (a story from the Book of Mormon). To begin the night, Seb and the missionaries dressed up as Lehi's sons and introduced the children to the "rod of iron." The kids had to walk through some creepy "mists of darkness" and past the "great and spacious building" (where several people were watching movies, eating candy, and drinking cream soda). The test was to hold on to the rod, to not get lost in the mists, and to not get distracted by the partiers, so they could make it to the Tree of Life - where delicious hot chile, cocoa, rolls, and cornbread awaited!

After dinner, the kids made their rounds in the parking lot filling their bags (or trunk in Rocky's case) with candy! Hudson made out like a bandit - he got some really fun treats including a mini box of fruit loops, fruit by the foot, a bag of cotton candy, and more! He was elated when the night was over and just sat in our trunk eating suckers, smarties, and fruit snacks. He's one hilarious kid.
