Beau invited Tyler and Uncle Jacob, his friend Caleb from preschool, and his friend Spencer from preschool and church.

Their shark-shaped party bags had water guns, beach ball animals, ring pops, and gatorade!

We want to make Rebel Donuts a b-day tradition - they are so beautiful and easy to clean up!

And the best part?? Presents!!

It was hard keeping track of everyone in the water - all 6 kids were supposed to stay at arms length to an adult ... yeah right!

Februaries in our home seem to be jam packed with sugary sweets! We get to celebrate the Superbowl (this year at the Dempsey's home, I accidentally had my first taste of alcohol! Eew! It looked like pink lemonade!); Valentine's Day - which comes with treats galore when you are in preschool or elementary school; Beau's birthday; our cousin/niece Elise's birthday; and this year our work baby shower.

We are so grateful for our little Beau. I can't believe he'll be in Kindergarten this Fall! Hannah and I will miss him dearly. He is smart, gentle, tender, creative, clean, organized, easy going, independent, very literal, with a great sense of humor. Beau likes to spend his time drawing, playing PBS kids on my computer, taking pictures and making videos with his new camera, jumping on the trampoline, watching cartoons and his new favorite Disney show (Bunk'd), and learning about animals (he loves Zaboomafoo and the Kratt Brothers). We call Beau a Hobbs because he has a smaller build than his brother and sister (who are clearly Dunlaps!) and looks a lot like his Grandpa Hobbs. Beau likes me to tickle his back when I tuck him in bed and especially likes me to "make food" on his back. He has cute, little white teeth, sweet greenish eyes, and soft blonde hair. He's just beginning to get a few freckles on his face. I am confident that he will bloom wherever he is planted!

Quick funny story - at Beau's birthday party, Hannah squatted in the shallow end of the pool and rained down some pee into the water. I was too far away to stop her. I watched as a woman walked past with a look of sheer horror on her face. Ha ha!
