Two going on twenty!

(5/16/2017) Girl's night!!

For Hannah's 2nd birthday, we had a girl's night out ...

We went with Grandma, Cousin Elise, and Aunt Shauna to Menchie's and the pet store ...

Hannah loved all of her presents!

The cousins got little handbags with tiny dogs in them as party favors!

Our animated, dramatic, playful, determined, spirited, sassy little woman turned two today! I really can't believe it! At the dinner table tonight, we went around and told Hannah some of the things we love about her. I mentioned her smile and all of her funny faces (she is an expert pouter, makes a mean evil eye, and has a great fake camera smile). Hudson said he loves how playful she is - they really do have a great relationship. She adores him and he loves making her laugh. When she opened some barrettes for her birthday - she let Hudson put them all over her hair. Beau said he loves that she watches TV. Ha ha - those two butt heads a little bit. She's pretty mean to him and he gets very resentful towards her (probably for taking his place as baby in the family). Hopefully, their relationship will grow more this coming year as he goes off to preschool and has his own little "thing" to do each day. I'm hoping they'll reunite after being apart during the day ready to play! Anywho - we love our Hannah girl. Here's a quick snapshot of Hannah at age two:

Favorite Phrases:

"Beau mean me!" (as in, Beau's being mean to me! Said even when he's not around!)

"You doing, Mommy?" (What are you doing, mommy?)

Favorite Toys: Dolls, tiny animals, her purple Beanie Boo monkey

Favorite Activities: Watching cartoons (especially in the car), playing outside, helping mommy cook, reading books (she loves our Trains board book), seeing Grandpa (she thinks he's so funny)

Hates: Going to the library (screams almost every time), going to bed most nights (lots of screaming), sitting down in the grocery cart (always tries to take her belt off ... also - lots of screaming)

Loves: Screaming! Ha ha - but seriously, she does. Oh, and pouting! She loves when Hudson gets home from school. She loves nursery and does so well in there - her teachers adore her. 

Fun Memory: This evening (6/3/17 - It's been a while since starting this post!) Hannah and I did our nails together. She was the cutest thing! She picked out coral for our toes and frosty white for our hands. She was so excited to get all dolled up and sat very still for me. She scooted right next to me and put her feet out just like mine so we could admire our nails together. It was the sweetest thing!! She is very chatty even though I don't understand the majority of what she's saying when she gets in her chatty modes. So so funny!
