Hannah's first birthday celebration was lots of fun. We met up with family and friends at Dion's for pizza, chocolate chip pound cake, and presents. Then, we caravanned to Carlito Springs for an afternoon hike. It was wonderful to be together in the beautiful outdoors - one of Hannah's favorite places. At the top of the trail, we kicked off our shoes and dipped our feet into the cold springs, munched on Smores trail mix and Pringles from Hannah's party bags, and played with the bubble machine Hannah's grandparents sent for her birthday. We even caught sight of a rattlesnake slithering along a wall where Andrea had been feeding her baby! It was an exciting, fun day!
